Sometimes one touchpoint question is placed in different places, for example digitally with a link in a newsletter, in social media or through a QR code in physical places. All responses are collected in the same flow regardless of whether you choose to share the link to the touchpoint in different places.
It can be interesting to know where the respondent came from, to find out a little more about the person answering the question or to be able to compare the distribution in the different channels. Then there is a solution that allows you to customize the link or QR code to be able to get this information in Panelista.
How it works:
When you want to add information about the specific location people are responding from, you can use URL query parameters starting with "p_". You choose how you want to name the place - e.g. "fb" if it's a post on Facebook.
For example, this is the link to a touchpoint: https://panelista.com/touchpoints/616eac328b7b9f00161851a4
This is what it looks like when you add the location information to the link: https://panelista.com/touchpoints/616eac328b7b9f00161851a4?p_source=fb, then you will see in Panelista that the person responded via the Facebook post.
You will be able to see it in the response feed, and it is also included if you export all responses to a csv file.
Click on the three dots on the right to get the information. Here, numbers have been used to name the different places.
