Ask questions through panels, touchpoints, and surveys
Video questions with follow-up questions are like time-limited micro-interviews that you send to selected customers in a panel. Touchpoints are intended for asking questions to an open audience over time, in physical or digital locations. Surveys allow you to ask multiple questions in a series using a combined methodology of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Sending out a video question
- You record a short video with your mobile phone. About 30—60 seconds is a suitable length for a panel question, 10—20 seconds for a touchpoint or survey.
- Introduce yourself and briefly explain the background to your question. Ask an open question to receive fuller answers. For example: Why..., What works well with..., What do you miss..., Tell me about...
💡 Tip: Give cred for the answers when recording the next question. Highlight something specific you learned. This way, you acknowledge your panelists and show that you are taking in everything they say.
Creating engagement in an ongoing discussion
As the answers come in, you can ask follow-up questions to get even more comprehensive feedback. For example: Interesting, could you provide examples of..., How would you like it to work instead..., Tell me more about...
You can also highlight and categorize the incoming answers with different colors, providing structure and order to what is most interesting, and it will be included in the report later.
