A video question invites good answers, valuable insights, and it's easy to show that you're listening and learning. Here are some tips for creating engaging discussions and maximizing the value of your panel.
Ask follow-up questions to dig deeper
There's a whole new layer of knowledge behind the answers that come in response to a video question.
Show that you're interested in learning what the panelist thinks, there are plenty of different ways to encourage them to tell more, for example:
- How interesting, tell me more!
- I'd like you to elaborate on that!
- How did it work then?
- What happened just before, what happened afterwards, how did it feel?
Highlight whatβs important
While the question is running and the answers are pouring in, you can use the highlighting tool to emphasize what's important, interesting, or perhaps new ideas that come up in the discussion. The highlights are only visible to you as an administrator and are included in the report.
Summarize what you've learned
Inside the tool, there's a free text field for you and your team to summarize what you've learned from the answers that come in. These insights are included in the automatic report, making it a great place to summarize the ideas and learnings you want to share with your colleagues.
Find patterns with the help of AI
To the right of the answers you'll find a small gray figure. That's our AI, itβs working in the background to read and analyze the feedback, summarize it, and discover interesting findings. You can see it as a tool to find patterns or discoveries that you may not have had time to discover yourself.
Finally, panelists want to feel that their efforts are appreciated, so take the time to tell them what you learned from the previous video question when you're recording a new one. And when you've done something based on input from the panel, start a video question by telling them!
